What is organic gardening?

Simply put, an organic garden is one that avoids the use of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and any other synthetic product that doesn't come directly from nature.

Why choose to garden organically?

1. Organic gardening protects the gardener and plants from the harm of synthetic chemicals

2. It gives the gardener a better understanding of nature's processes and protects existing wildlife in the area

3. According to the Soil Association (https://www.soilassociation.org/organic-living/whyorganic/its-nutritionally-different/), organically grown produce is higher in 21 key minerals. Additionally, Newcastle University (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/press/articles/archive/2015/10/organicvsnon-organicfood/) found that organic produce was up to 60% higher in antioxidants than conventional produce.

4. It allows the grower to save money on organic produce as compared to store-bought produce.
